AUSTIN INVITATION LIST · UPDATED OCTOBER 19, 2026

YOUR DATA.
YOUR CHOICE.

Badass Human Race operates this private interest list for the 2027 Austin event. Contact us at info@badasshumanrace.com about this policy or your information.

What we collect

When you accept an invitation, we collect your first and last name, email, required phone number, email permission, signup time, inviter connection, and email-verification status. If you earn a shirt, we collect your selected size. We store invitation codes, referral counts, and account-session tokens to operate your access and rewards.

Our hosting and security providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser information, and request logs. The app uses a secure cookie to remember your verified membership; Google Fonts supplies the typefaces.

How we use it

We verify your email, provide invitation and discount access, count eligible referrals, manage rewards, prevent duplicate or abusive entries, and send race updates and promotions you agreed to receive. Entering a phone number does not subscribe you to texts or automated calls.

Who can see it

Your first name is shown to people who open your invitation. If you add a recipient’s name to a sharing link, that name is visible to anyone with that link, so use first names only. Other visitors cannot see your email or phone through your invitation.

Authorized race organizers and providers supporting hosting, security, data storage, and email delivery process information needed for those services. Verification emails are sent through Google from info@badasshumanrace.com. This app does not provide contact lists to participants or include a feature to sell your contact information.

Email choices

You can unsubscribe from Austin promotional emails here without signing in. We record your choice immediately and use it to exclude you from future promotional sends from this invitation list. We keep a hash of the opted-out email address to remember that preference. Confirmation and account messages you specifically request may still be sent.

Access, correction, and deletion

Email info@badasshumanrace.com to request a copy, correction, or deletion of your information. We may verify ownership of the email before acting. We retain records needed to operate invitations, rewards, support, and security; deletion requests are reviewed against any ongoing fulfillment or legal obligations. Unsubscribe preferences may be retained to avoid re-adding you accidentally.

Interest list and other services

This list is not a race registration and does not reserve a place. Race-registration and payment providers have their own terms and privacy notices. If our handling of this list changes, we will update this page.
